Biography

Michael Linden's career started at a young age, when he choreographed dances to his mom's vinyl of the movie Grease and then was too nervous to perform it for his family, who had assembled in the living room to watch it. He has since shed the stage fright in an effort to curate his Woody-Allen-meets-Ina-Garten aesthetic.
Born in Queens, New York and raised on Long Island, Michael started performing in his school plays in Middle School after he made his friends close their eyes and listen to him sing (see previous paragraph re: stage fright). He went on to study musical theater at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. He quickly started working in the Philadelphia theater scene at theater such as the Walnut, the Arden, and 11th Hour Theater Company.
Michael became the luckiest college senior in the world when he was cast on the national tour of the Tony Award winning Spring Awakening mere weeks before graduating. After kicking off his professional career with one of the hottest shows in recent history, he followed it up with the national tour of Hair, as well as regional work at North Shore Music Theater, Barrington Stage, Westchester Broadway Theater, and Amphibian stage, among others.
As a vocalist, Michael has performed (and eaten too much food) all around the world, from Japan to Canada to Dayton, Ohio (which is not without its charms). As a singer in the group RANGE A Cappella, he has performed at Radio City Music Hall with Kelly Clarkson, on Nickelodeon and throughout New York City and beyond.
Michael currently lives in New York City, where he continues to act, sing, coach, and eat. He is always eating.
